Access up to $5,000 + new resources for hiring people with disabilities
CareersNOW! has partnered with the Discover Ability Network — a recruitment resource for hiring qualified individuals with disabilities — in support of Ontario’s food and beverage processing sector.
The following resources and funding is now available to Ontario industry employers.
- Up to $1,500 cash bonus for hiring an individual with a disability.
- $1000 training and retention allowance per hire if you hire 5 or more candidates.
- Easy access to the Discover Ability Network for job postings and candidate matching with technical support provided.
- Sharing of employer job postings with employment service providers across Ontario to connect with candidates from several labour pools.
- Access to training on disability and employment topics including accommodations and disclosure and hiring and retaining talent with a disability.
